Can the NIS system help Anxiety/ Depression?
The answer to this is YES. However it is important to note that with NIS we do not involve the mind. The NIS system will address the reasons WHY a patient needs to take anti-depressants or similar in the first place.
With NIS your practitioner will investigate WHY the body is not coping and address the neurological and physiological impact the depression and anxiety is having on the body.
Please find to follow a testimonial from a client stating how much NIS has helped her. I thought you would find this interesting and appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
In Good Health, Dr Dennis Pick
Dr. Pick, I wanted to express my gratitude for introducing me to your practice using Neurological Integration. When I arrived at your office I had no physical concerns but I had been dealing for the past 2 ½ years with a very difficult family issue involving my sister and my mother. The impact was emotional and psychological abuse. It left me with wild mood swings, hysterical decision-making and constant depression.
Since I could not solve these issues myself, I found that I was always taking my anger and desperation out on my wonderful husband and young son. That would then leave me in a worse state because I was aware that I was just transferring the problem on to them.
I saw a therapist for about 6 months in which I had around six or seven 45 minute sessions. The positive outcome from that counsel was that he assured me that I was not crazy but was dealing with direct abuse. His advice continued to be the same, “I have a wonderful pill to prescribe and here is a book for you to read.” Well, I did not want to mask the problem with a pill and I was to distraught to get into the book, which remains unread in my home. This non-action on my part annoyed the therapist and I so never returned.
Here’s the great news.
When I came to your office I was curious about what made your chiropractic treatment different than all the others I had been to when I needed an adjustment. We set an appointment for the next week for you to show me about this system. Initially it seemed the needed therapy would be 30 visits. After the 3rd visit, though, I was fixed. I say that based on the new way I felt. I had a calmness about me that was personally unfamiliar.
My husband was amazed at my calmness. My husband kept saying how proud of me he was at this new behavior and attitude, and I was too.
It felt powerful because for the first time I felt in control even though I continued to never know what might happen next. Their stuff didn’t matter anymore because it wasn’t going to change ME, how I feel and how I behave. I react sad at sad news or treatment but the difference is I don’t stay sad.
I am now able to quickly move on to the satisfying and happy life I have.
Thank you so much for helping my brain to change myself - the correct and healthy way.
