Horse - Nugget

These thermal images have the time frame on them which makes them interesting as to how quick the body reacts during an NIS treatment. This actually blew the thermal imaging cameramans mind as he told me before we started that what I expected to happen during the treatment wouldn’t.  The results speak for themselves.  Paul Hellings.

Patient: 13yr old Quarter Horse, Gelding

Complaint:
Recurrent tearing of triceps muscles, lameness.

At the treatment:
He appeared to have a twisted pelvis and was walking awkwardly in his hindquarters.  Also some tenderness in his back - possibly related to recent accident where his cover straps broke during the day and he must have struggled out of it.
He has had an unsettled stomach off and on since anti-inflammatory treatment & been choking on his hard feed.

After treatment:
He is now walking comfortable with no obvious signs of lameness, choking has lessened.
Is the NIS system effective with animals?  The answer is yes.
