NIS by Neurolink® is profoundly different in its principles and scope of treatment to all other methods of healthcare. This is a system of healthcare treatment like no other. It calls for a paradigm shift and is achieving cutting-edge results across the spectrum of complaints.
Having practiced many techniques, Dr Allan Phillips, Neurolink’s founder and developer of NIS, an Osteopathic Physician from New Zealand, believed there was something more to addressing the deeper issues behind ill health, pain and disease. The ‘why’ approach led to the realization that certain methodologies used to restore health are just blindly accepted today. No priority has been given to investigate why the neuro-physiological function behind complaints is causing symptom patterns to occur…...UNTIL NOW. | |

Over the past 29 years, Dr Phillips has been passionately devoted to researching the brain and its governance of all body function. His research originally began through investigation in the area of neurological disorganisation. Since then he has lectured and consulted to many networks, including television and radio interviews on this one topic alone. Dramatic results in reversing afflictions in many areas, has seen the NEUROLINK® Centre invited to be included in a national government referral treatment program, and Dr Phillips has been a consultant to the Pacific Region for World Health.
NIS represents the practical application of Dr Phillips years of research. NIS is a complete step-by-step, prioritised and simple to use system of healthcare management. This system helps practitioners define the real reasons behind their patients’ symptom pattern. How? From the only one who knows exactly what is wrong with the patient down to the tiniest cell function - THE BRAIN.
Not only that, NIS is the only method of healthcare where not the practitioner, but the brain makes the correction. Different to how we’ve been trained? Different to other techniques we are currently using? Of course - but this approach allows us to treat more accurately and successfully than ever before.
For over 20 years NIS has been taught by Dr Phillips and his team of trainers to healthcare practitioners globally through the NIS seminar program. Dr Phillips continues to research and practice from the Neurolink Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.
Here in Auckland, New Zealand Dr Phillips is currently engaged in some formal studies that have not yet concluded. Each treatment protocol screen and correction must be able to be replicated with every patient. In order to do this a huge amount of clinical research must take place before a treatment protocol is integrated and taught as part of the NIS system. For one protocol this could mean 12-18months.
At the NEUROLINK® Centre we use the following to validate the changes before treatment and after. The ‘after’ results measure the physiological changes that have taken place once the brain has acknowledged and resumed control of the causal issues:
- Lab results (blood) are used to understand the changes going on at glandular level.
- Spirometry is used to evaluate energetic changes/pain levels.
- Heart rhythm scanners used to hard copy the sympathetic/parasympathetic mechanisms
Some of the findings of the following physicians provide a platform for Neurolink's research, and the principles of its Neurological Integration System (NIS). Full research material of each of these people can be found on the internet or in our seminar recommended reading list.
Dr Karl Pribram M.D.
Neurosurgeon from Stanford University was the Nobel prize recipient for conclusive research that the brain is holographic in nature. Memory does not reside in any one area. The brain sees everything as multi-dimensional. Every cell in the body is a hologram in itself with its own DNA.
Dr. Valerie Hunt PhD
Disturbances in the electromagnetic field are primary to disease processes that manifest as secondary factors in the body.
Dr. Kornhuber M.D.
A person's intent is a recordable phenomenon that precedes voluntary movement. We can conclude from this that there is neurological activity occurring over and above ones comprehension of bodily function. Neurolink is researching on this basis.

Muscle testing has been used widely for many years, and remains the most accurate means of accessing data from the brain. A research study on the scientific validation of muscle testing has been published in the Perceptual Motor skills medical journal: (rated in the top 5% of all peer-reviewed medical journals) Scientific Validation of the mind/body paradigm and muscle testing, D.Monti et Al, Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1999. This study lends scientific support to muscle-testing as a consistent, real-time indicator of altered physiological function.
The Post Central Gyrus is the primary sensory area of the cerebral cortex. This allows sensory discrimination and stereognosis (the ability to recognize form by touch). By collectively tapping this area there is a reinforcement of recognition by both hemispheres and the selected body points being held.
NIS facilitates the post central gyrus (the message sending and receiving area of the brain) to acknowledge the incongruence so dysfunction can now be addressed/corrected by the brain. This restores appropriate control of the sensory-motor loop, giving back control to the testing muscle. In doing that, normal neurological activity and homeostatic balance is achieved.
In other words….. once the brain acknowledges the dysfunction, it (the brain) will in its infinite wisdom correct it with absolute accuracy. No practitioner is capable of making any correction by ‘doing’ something to modulate a response. That is a fallacy. The ‘doing’ will only be achieved if the brain will acknowledge the incongruence via the post central gyrus, and therefore is responsible for the outcome.
NIS is based on quantum physics, where all that occurs in the physical body is subservient to the brain being a reference grid or filter for that action. The basis of real health in real time is the ability of the body to conduct vital information immediately. Reliance on nerve conduction speed has been totally outmoded with the NIS approach for the last 15 years. A new horizon in health care potential became very evident when science explained the speed at which molecules can relay information electromagnetically.
[McClare, C.W.F (1974) “resonance in bioenergetics” Annals of the New York academy of sciences 227:74 – 97]
All the information that is carried in the human body is linked to a molecules available energy, and this energy travels @186,000 miles per second. Electromagnetic frequencies have been shown to be 100 x more efficient to relay environmental information.
In direct contrast, the diffusible chemical speed involving hormones and neurotransmitters to relay information travels at 1 centimetre per second. Also, chemical coupling is accompanied by massive energy loss due to heat generated in the making and breaking of chemical bonds. This limits the amount of information the signal can carry.
Application of the scientific principle of electromagnetic conduction has dramatically revised the way the body will respond and the speed at which it responds. Laboratory measurements of Immunopathology values constantly reflect changes as a result of using these principles. Such changes now being observed with NIS include positive improvements in the various carcinoembryonic antigen markers.
Historically, areas of dysfunction such as spinal subluxation have become the focus of attention. The ‘global’ issue rests with a dysfunction in the body’s tensegrity system that embodies every cell.

Tensegrity: the architectural basis of cellular mechanotransduction. Annu. Rev. Physiol. 59, 575-599.] The perineural system involves every nerve fiber in the body. It operates on direct current and is influenced by extremely low frequency from 0.3htz to 30 htz. These frequencies relate to those transmitted from practitioner contact and changes in this frequency range have demonstrated changes in bone, nerve, ligament and capillary formation.

The body operates as an integrated being - body systems do not work in isolation. Fascial restriction can lower optimal function of muscles, organs and glands. The brain will modulate physiological function where levels of tolerance have been exceeded. Hemispheric dominance is not a limiting factor by our individuality or life experience, but is limited when cortical integration is inappropriate for the patient.
The meridian system in acupuncture correlates with 100% accuracy to physiological function. Evaluation of function through this system is diagnostically more accurate and defined than current clinical testing. Etiology of immune dysfunction can rapidly be discerned and treated. Viral and bacterial antigens can be eradicated without medication and more rapidly than conventional drugs.
Learning difficulties are directly related to an integration breakdown between cortices, cerebellum and eye movement.
