What is Neurolink's NIS?
|
Neurolink's Neurological Integration System (NIS) has a profound means of accessing the brain to make the most accurate diagnosis for your patient and is a facilitator in getting the most profound....precise.....intelligent....and most needful corrections to be made - BY the BRAIN, NOT the PRACTITIONER.
NIS is the only method that gives access to a system of healthcare where the brain will acknowledge dysfunction and immediately resume control of the issue and correct it. This must happen for real issues to be addressed and sustainable result to happen. All other methods involving the brain use some form of stimulation, or training of the brain. The brain doesn't need to be trained it already knows.

Principles of NIS...
|
Principle #1
Based on the neurological premise that the brain (not the mind) governs all of the normal and optimum body function. Neuroscience is the basis upon which all NIS protocols are based. Therefore the brain, rather than the practitioner per se, must be the most accurate and definitive source for evaluating and correcting complaints.
Principle #2
The brain makes the corrections to the patient – not the practitioner. Practitioners using NIS rely on the neurological feedback from the brain to determine and correct dysfunction. The practitioner is a FACILITATOR in the correction process and does not initiate any corrective procedures. In facilitating the resetting of the neurological circuitry the BRAIN WILL MAKE THE CORRECTIONS.
Principle #3
NIS does not treat labelled complaints, per se – rather it returns all body systems to their optimum function (for that individual) so in turn any symptoms will resolve.

Is NIS a Technique?
|
| Absolutely not!
Neurolink's NIS is a complete system of healthcare management that utilises the neurological processes to determine real causes of physiological dysfunction.
Many excellent techniques are used and promoted in healthcare today, but techniques frequently address facets of health in isolation. NIS is a sequential system, based on principles which assess ALL of body function as it works as an integrated being. To investigate and address real causes the bodys' systems must be considered as they work together not as they work in isolation. To find out more about how NIS is different to techniques please visit our FAQ section.

Why is NIS different?
|
Neurological Integration System works on the following premise: The brain knows about 100% of body function. For the body to be well, the brain must be in control of ALL body’s systems. Unless the brain can acknowledge (not be trained or stimulated) and then resume control of the dysfunction, a patient’s health will never be at its optimum potential.
Differences in the Diagnostic/assessment phase: In philosophy NIS may sound similar to other methods, which is not surprising given that well documented principles of neurophysiology are the backdrop for NIS. NIS uses a muscle test, also common to other methods. It is what the NI system is evaluating, with the muscle test that is very different. The NIS protocols evaluate the status of the body’s systems as they function as an integrated being. All other methods evaluate only portions or certain facets of function at a time. No verbal interrogation is used.
Differences in the Corrective/Treatment phase: Other methods of healthcare involve corrective action on the patients body that in itself modulates change. This ranges from tapping reflexes or tapping the spine to, stimulating muscles to create/modulate change. With NIS - the brain initiates the correction. This can not be said for any other method.
There are some methods that although they are encompassing the brain in the ‘equation’, there is still some form of modulation or stimulation being made by the practitioner to initiate the correction.
- In NIS the practitioner does not modulate anything
- In NIS the practitioner does not train the brain/CNS towards normal function
The brain does not need to be trained. The brain already knows what should be normal function for each patient. It only needs to acknowledge there is a problem. Then...it can immediately resume control of the problem.
This may seem like a paradigm shift in the way we have been trained as practitioners over the years. And it is. It may also seem too simple for such complex physiology. It is—that is exactly the beauty of NIS.

How does NIS work?
|
When the brain is controlling all the body systems
NIS uses a system of sequential and prioritised protocols to evaluate and correct any areas of dysfunction in any of the bodys' systems. NIS accesses... every muscle every cell every gland/organ every vein/ artery every body system...nervous, cardiovascular, endocrine, reproductive, lymphatic, digestive etc etc
This determines the underlying neurophysiological reasons as to why the patient has their symptom pattern. If you are a practitioner and are interested in receiving a complete NIS Information Kit click here.

What does NIS treat?
|
|
Under ONE umbrella, NIS is a systematic means that addresses all underlying issues that could lead to one or more of 600,000 symptoms.
Many patients are able to testify to amazing results they have received as a result of NIS, however NIS itself claims to cure NOTHING, per se. The NIS practitioner is merely a facilitator, who is able to use the brain as a 'clearing house" to restore optimum function to all body systems.
When the brain feeds back 'data' to the practitioner, often the real reasons for ill health are revealed. This may provide hope for cases that otherwise are termed 'hopeless". With this optimum function, often the symptoms your patients have of ill health and disease will be resolved, exposing their systems to optimum potential.
What areas of complaint can NIS assist with?
- Neurological and neurological injury resulting from accident/trauma
- Structural and muscular complaints
- Learning & behavioral difficulties – ADD/ADHD/Dyslexia, Aspergers
- Pathological (Infection based) – viral, bacterial and fungal. Includes all issues relating to the immune system.
- Fertility (both male and female)
- Hormonal (both male and female)
- Mental and emotional disorders
- Skin disorders
- Digestive System - resulting in sinus and mucous issues
- Migraine
- Allergies - both food and chemical toxicity, hay-fever
- Auto-immune
- Insomnia – poor sleeping patterns
- Heart and Cholesterol - blood pressure, venous and arterial supply
- Chronic Fatigue/Fybromyalgia
- Poor organ function – bowel, liver, bladder, etc.
- Stress-related illnesses
- Respiratory (asthma)
- Eyes – Glaucoma, astigmatism

What will NIS do for YOUR practice?
|
- Want to be known for successfully treating complex cases?
- Want to diversify the scope of your practice and grow financially?
- Want to know for sure you are addressing underlying issues?
- Looking for something simpler with sustainable results ?
- Want sustainable results faster? immediately?
NIS gives you access to addressing areas of dysfunction you have never had before. This will diversify the scope of you practice and have you successfully addressing complaints your colleagues are still struggling with.

Behind Neurolink's Research
|
Dr Allan K. Phillips, Osteopathic Physician and health consultant to the Pacific Region for World Health is the founder of Neurolink® and the Neurological Integration System (NIS).
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Neurolink is a committed leader in investigating and applying the principals of neuroscience to address WHY a patient's neurophysiological function has caused the symptoms of ill health/ pain in the first place.
Dr Phillips is also the director of Neurolink® Seminars, and along with a team of trainers, teaches its methods to other practitioners across Europe, North America, Japan, and Australasia. Dr Phillips continues to research and practice from the Neurolink Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.
Some of the findings of the following physicians, provide a platform for Neurolink's research, and the principles of its Neurological Integration System(NIS). Full research material of each of these people can be found on the internet or in our seminar recommended reading list.
Dr Karl Pribram M.D. Neurosurgeon from Stanford University, was the Nobel prize recipient for conclusive research that the brain is holographic in nature. Memory does not reside in any one area. The brain sees everything as multi-dimensional. Every cell in the body is a hologram in itself with its own DNA
Dr. Valerie Hunt PhD Disturbances in the electromagnetic field are primary to disease processes that manifest as secondary factors in the body.
Dr. Kornhuber M.D. A person's intent is a recordable phenomenon that precedes voluntary movement. We can conclude from this that there is neurological activity occurring over and above ones comprehension of bodily function. Neurolink is researching on this basis.
