1. Binding Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the participant and NIS Seminars (Head Office: Auckland, New Zealand) (βNISβ).
By submitting a registration form and/or completing payment, the participant agrees to be bound by these Terms in full.
Electronic acceptance constitutes valid legal consent.
2. Independent Contractors and Operating Division
2.1 NIS USA Seminars is an operating division and trading name of NIS Seminars and is not a separate legal entity.
2.2 Seminar presenters, educators, and facilitators engaged by NIS Seminars operate as independent contractors and not as employees, partners, agents, or joint venturers.
2.3 Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship.
2.4 NIS Seminars is not responsible for personal statements, opinions, or actions of independent presenters outside the scope of seminar delivery.
3. Registration & Payment
3.1 Full payment of USD $1,950 is required prior to seminar commencement.
3.2 All fees are processed in United States Dollars (USD).
3.3 Accepted payment methods:
Visa
Mastercard
American Express
3.4 The following are not accepted:
Cash
Cheque
Split payments
Digital currency
Instalments
Payments on account
Registrations are not confirmed until cleared funds are received.
4. Professional Eligibility Requirements
NIS Seminars provides professional education services exclusively to qualified health practitioners.
Participants must satisfy both academic and licensing requirements.
A. Qualifications
Applicants must hold a minimum post-graduate degree aligned with:
Medical Doctors / Specialists
Osteopaths
Chiropractors
Physiotherapists / Physical Therapists
Nurses
Acupuncturists
Naturopaths
Dentists
Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners
Veterinarians
Occupational Therapists
Registered Massage Therapists (Canada only)
Registered Naturopaths
B. Professional Licensing
Participants must hold current national or state registration permitting independent practice.
Psychologists must provide registration numbers.
4.1 NIS Seminars reserves the right to request credential verification at any time.
4.2 Registrations may be declined or revoked at NIS Seminarsβ sole discretion.
4.3 False declaration results in cancellation and refund less USD $150 administration fee.

5. Student & Refresher Registrations
Students must provide proof of enrolment and ID.
False claims result in cancellation and refund less USD $150.
Refresher rates apply only where explicitly approved.
No student discounts apply to refresher registrations.
6. Educational Disclaimer
All seminars provide educational content only.
No medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, professional, or financial outcomes are guaranteed.
Participants acknowledge:
NIS does not provide medical advice
Attendance does not imply certification or licensure
Results vary by individual
Content may be delivered by independent contractors whose views do not necessarily represent NIS Seminars
7. Seminar Inclusions / Exclusions
Included:
Two-day seminar
Teaching materials
Excluded:
Travel
Accommodation
Meals
Insurance
Loss of income
Personal expenses
8. Cancellation by NIS Seminars
If NIS Seminars cancels due to force majeure, seminar fees will be refunded.
NIS Seminars is not responsible for external costs.
Force majeure includes but is not limited to:
Natural disasters
Pandemics
Government orders
Venue closure
Instructor illness
Transport disruption
9. Participant Cancellation Policy
β₯30 days: Refund less USD $150 admin
3β29 days: 50% retained
<48 hours / no-show: No refund
Written notice required.
10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Participants agree not to initiate chargebacks after accepting these Terms.
Chargebacks constitute breach of contract.
NIS Seminars reserves the right to recover associated legal and administrative costs.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NIS Seminars shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Total liability is limited to seminar fees paid.
NIS Seminars is not liable for acts or omissions of independent contractors or third-party providers.
12. Assumption of Risk
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance and travel.
13. Conduct / Right to Refuse Service
NIS Seminars may remove disruptive participants without refund.
Registrations are non-transferable.
14. Media Release
Participants grant permission for photography and recording unless revoked in writing prior to attendance.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Missouri courts.
16. Entire Agreement / Severability
These Terms constitute the entire agreement.
Invalid provisions do not affect remaining clauses.
17. Acceptance
17.1 Submission of the registration form and/or payment via the Stripe online portal constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these Terms.
17.2 Stripe payment constitutes explicit electronic acceptance and forms a legally binding contract with NIS Seminars.
